What We Do
Poverty is not simple. The causes of poverty are many, and it has many solutions. That’s why St. Vincent de Paul (SVdP) Prince of Peace Conference in Flowery Branch, Georgia, focuses on getting to know people in need as individuals on a person-to-person basis, often by visiting their homes and seeing first hand the reality they live in.
It is this personalized involvement that makes the work of the Society unique. We learn about the barriers they face and together, craft a plan to address these issues and satisfy their most urgent needs so they can begin to take control of their lives.
