Gwinnett County Resources

Gwinnett County has a variety of government and non-profit resources available. Below is a list of links to various websites where you may be able to find the type(s) of assistance you are seeking.

  • The Gwinnett County Services website provides links to:
    • Senior citizen resources
    • Locations of warming stations
    • Veteran and family services
    • Other services
  • To apply for financial aid from the Gwinnett County, complete their online Assistance Request Form.
  • If you are seeking family support, such as emergency services for rent, mortgage payments, emergency lodging and aid to pay utilities, check the Partnership for Community Action website or call them @ 404-537-4300.
  • If you are a single parent living in Gwinnett, you may find that the Single Parent Resource Center or SPARC can help.Visit their website where you find a variety of programs to empower and equip single parents with the necessary tools, resources and support to enable them to create a healthy home environment or call them @ 678-964-7209).

Hall County Resources

  • The Ninth District Opportunity website provides links to resources for childhood education, community services, housing, heating/cooling (LIHEAP) aid, and home weatherization. You may call them @ 770-534-8826 with any questions that you have.
  • If you are interested specifically in utility bill aid, go to the Ninth District Energy Assistance Program website to see program details and to learn more about who is qualified and how to apply
  • The community handbook entitled, Hall County Community Resource Guide lists resources for family and medical services, disaster relief, employment assistance, food, housing, rehabilitation centers, senior services and more.
  • The Georgia Mountain resource center offers a wealth of information on job training, educational assistance, job search resources. They also have a job portal and addresses for career centers. You can find everything you need by going to the WorkSource website or you may contact them at 770-528-2727.

Food Resources
